  • Filigree 750 (18 K) yellow gold pendant with bezel and a freshwater pearl pendant. Handmade using traditional techniques, it reinterprets the original button in the form of a pendant.

The artisan

After obtaining a MA in Nuoro, Salvatore Goddi learnt the art of filigree crafting in Bosa, one of the main hubs of ancient goldsmith's tradition, at one of the most appreciated local filigree artesans. In 1977, he opened a jeweller's workshop in Nuoro; since 1980, his wife, Annarita Schintu, has worked at his side. They had been schoolfellows at the Scuola d’Arte. The two goldsmiths give birth to an interesting professional path, through research and unusual experiments, resulting in new traditional and innovative objects, characterized by a profound knowledge and a great passion for Sardinian culture. With their precious collections, they take part in the most important local fairs.

The collection

The workshop crafts all the main types of traditional Sardinian jewels, in addition to more contemporary collections: necklaces, rings, brooches, pendants, buttons. They are all characterized by beauty and technical skills, expression of a profound passion for their mother land and culture.

The technique

The experiments and the research of these artisans on traditional goldsmith's art, from a technical and cultural profile, is translated into a profound technical expertise and a valuable production. All traditional goldsmith techniques are applied, being the sophisticated expression of a charming and surprising culture.
