The artefact
This traditional ring featuring gold and mounted stones, is called anellu de punta. It is part of the goldsmith's tradition of Orgosolo, the renown town at the heart of Sardinia. It is made of a fretworked gold foil and decorated with small filigree elements and mounted turquoise and semi-precious stones. This ring is traditionally inherited by sons.
