Saddlebag stole with coral embroidery

The artefact

This prized stole, made of black orbace and black velvet lined with damask silk decorated with floral motifs, revives the shape of the traditional saddlebag with two large pockets, made precious by the embroidered appliques on lace with irregular-shaped coral beads.
