TC 3 carpet
The artefact
The original decoration of this large carpet in Sardinian wool draws on geometric motifs of traditional weaving, regularly spaced in an asymmetrical yet harmonious composition in bold and contrasting tones of orange and beige against a dark brown background. Handcrafted using a loom according to the tutto pieno (full bodied) pibiones relief technique, it is realised by Tessart Cogoni based on an original design by the designer Caterno Cesare Bettini.
