Sa Pudda Froria
The artefact
The Flowered Hen, Sa Pudda Froria, richly decorated with refined ears of corn, flowers and grains of corn, is surrounded by twelve chicks symbolising the months of the year. Entirely hand-shaped with skill and technical expertise, the moorhen is a recurring symbol in Ignazia Tinti’s works, which are inspired by the ceremonial bread of traditional Sardinian culture, decorated with flowers and other well-wishing symbols.
