The artefact

This vase-sculpture in the shape of a large blue sphere is decorated with fluctuating stylised marine figures. Handcrafted as a single piece, this large sphere is decorated using the raku technique, which this craftsman customises in order to achieve vibrant iridescent chromatic effects.
